Growing up on my grandfather's farm has had a lasting impact on me and my journey in life. I was taught that if you take care of the land, it will take care of you and that is the reason I have walked this path. With a degree in Sustainable Living, certification in Ecological Farming, and certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I seek to combine my passions for human and environmental health as one pursuit, and thus Soil to Sustenance was formed. It is through this platform that I will share how to produce nutritionally balanced food that also balances our environment. Food as medicine and gardening that heals the planet.

When not working on Soil to Sustenance, I enjoy teaching at the University of Richmond and local botanical gardens, organizing the Virginia chapter of the Bionutrient Food Association, tending my gardens, and preparing delicious and nutritious food for my friends and family.

Partnering with Jessica has been enlightening to say the least. Growing up on Long Island, I never even thought about where food came from or how it was grown. Now, I am more mindful of the food on my plate and eager to help spread the message of growing the most nutritious and environmentally conscious food possible. With a degree in Sustainable Living and skills in digital marketing and web strategy, I am able to help visualize and actualize a healthier and happier planet.

When not assisting with Soil to Sustenance, I can be found taking long contemplative walks or working on my other passion, Naked Moment.
